From the photos- I personally love the movement and subtle colors and depth of the White Springs, but it is hard to know for sure from a photo. I would bring in a cabinet door and put it next to the slabs to be sure how they coordinate first, of course. I do have one bit of general advice, especially when trying to select a LIGHT colored granite(from someone's who's learned the hard way): MAKE SURE YOU CAN FIND A TILE FOR YOUR BACKSPLASH THAT LOOKS GOOD WITH BOTH YOUR GRANITE AND CABINETS BEFORE YOU BUY THE GRANITE!!! I have Harvest Cream Granite (like Colonial Cream without the rusty streaks)and I am having such a hard time finding the right color tile (and I am very open to either a stone or ceramic). White tile or marble is too white next to it (makes the granite look dirty or ivory), white travertine looks beige next to the granite and doesn't seem to go at all, some tiles look too grey, others too ivory, next to the granite! If I use a more golden stone to pick up the golden veins running through the granite, it is too close to the color of my honey-spice cabinets and not pleasing at all. etc. The color of my granite seems to change in different lights and at different angles, too, making it even harder to decide. I am assuming you want a light-colored backsplash (for most of the backsplash, at least). I think that folks with darker granite countertops have an easier time finding backsplash tiles--any light color will provide a nice contrast and they don't have to worry so much about trying to match the exact shade or white or cream in the granite. So you might want to hold some tile samples up to both the granite and the cabinets to help you decide. HTH

Thanks you guys! I think I will go with the crazy.... Even the name fits me well. :). The other slab is just so pretty as a whole, but when divided out it will not make the same statement. I really wish I could find something lighter to use but I cannot find the right shade and enough movement for my taste in the lighter slabs. Do you guys have any other suggestions for other granite that I should consider? Thanks again for your feedback.

patty Congrats on your remodel I guess I would ask what other elements are in the room? what color appliances, hardware, stools, furnishings, natural light, window treatments,rugs, wall color, lighting etc I can't see the flooring - posting a pic may help Picking a counter is very individual & we all "see" differently You noted a natural tumbled backsplash as likely - I read the TB - as warming up your palette - your cabs are considered cool - so I my initial reaction is I prefer that - I like warm/cool elements but again depends on the rest of the palette & your personal taste The NC reads cool to me - If that is used the rest of the elements should be cool - fabrics, hardware, wall color etc - or you will have colors that are fighting each other - a honed crema marfil backsplash wouldn't work, but a carrara would - tan/beige paints wouldn't work, but blues/greys would Another twist you could consider is having each sample honed & see if that helps to make a decision - that will give you 4 options and also sounds like you have some room to negotiate with the stone yard esp on the TB they want to move - offer 20% discounted pricing on that one if that is the one you would like, even if not, that may help to drive the decision Good luck
