M Miller- when simply stating the facts, it is indeed repetitive. Scripted on the other hand? Which posts of mine have been flagged and removed? Perhaps those that introduced you to the word “trolling” or was or the email thread between myself and a Blanco Representative? My reviews, comments, and opinions will remain consistent because they are simply facts and my lack of presence in and around social media platforms is the result of having a life and career in the real world...one that does not require marketing low-end sinks with a fake identity. I really don’t care about you or your sinks and everyone who buys one will eventually see for themselves. Wow! Then you’ll really have your work cut out for you.

The only negative I have heard about Silgranit II was from a designer who said that he doesn't think it looks very high end and that is why he doesn't use them. He said the darker colors do look richer but still he doesn't put them in his designs. But that is just his opinion. That and the cracks are the only two negatives I have heard about them. I haven't heard anyone on GW say anything about them not looking high end. I am coming to the conclusion that the only way to be safe is with SS even though I don't prefer SS personally it isn't going to crack. But their durability must be why you see them in apartments and medical settings and perhaps why I don't really like them in my own kitchen. Cost to remove and install a new sink even if the replacement is free from the manufacturer can be cost prohibitive. They won't cover labor to put it in and there is risk of damage to the granite and cabinet that could even add more to the cost. The granite would be nearly impossible to fix or find replacement for and match existing. What a nightmare! I've read some older posts about it. One lady paid $600 to have her replacement Silgranite II to be installed because of the labor involved removing the old one that was cracked and another lady had a cast iron that the porcelain cracked. Breezy's gray or truffle Silgranit II is my favorite color in the composite sinks and looks great with the Carrera marble in her kitchen. Sink decision seems to be among the hardest ones!

Blanco sells a Siligranit sink cleaner. You can order on line (Google it) or check with your local plumbing supply store. I've had my Blanco Siligranit sink now for two years and only use my dish cloth to wipe it dry when I am finished with my dishes. I have never used a cleaner or wool pad on it. I will use the Blanco Siligranit cleaner on it to see if it makes a difference in its appearance. It looks just fine, but this cleaner is supposed to make it look like new again.

Just confirming that (at least, as of two years ago) they ARE made by Blanco. Like Rose, I was attracted by the much lower price, and asked the HD salesman to call and see if they were available in any other shapes. So he went to his trusty book looked up the phone number for 'Pegasus' sinks, and the person on the other end answered "Good morning, Blanco" -- 'Pegasus' is simply the house brand name for HD's products. That said, there is no guarantee that 'Pegasus' brand products are made to the same full quality specs as their name-branded counterparts. For some products, like the sinks, I'm guessing that they are. For others, like faucets, I'd guess they frequently use cheaper materials.
