soapstone counter seam advice please

Long-time (well, 2 months, duration of the renovation) reader, first-time question.

We are using Alberene soapstone for our countertops. My wife picked out the slab from the quarry. Maximum length of a piece is 57". We're willing to have seams as we love the stone.

We are also using an apron-front farmhouse sink.

Our fabricator recommended the attached seam locations. From reading the forums, consensus seems to be for a single center seam behind the sink, rather than two seams as he has planned out. Should I be pushing for that solution, for either strength or aesthetic reasons? It would move the right-hand seam closer to the sink but I don't see that as a big deal.

thanks so much in advance for your advice.
