Anyone has white cabs/white countertop/gray tile flooring kitchen?
Comments (11)Thank you! They are Conestoga cabs, the blue is SW Commodore (they go off the SW colors), they really are not *that* bright. :) I'm from NY too Audrey! When it came time for the backsplash I waived the white flag financially and decision making-wise. I love the water jet cut tiles a la Ann Sacks and such. I think they would look lovely with what you are talking about. Light blue or green are pretty. If you want to stick with white maybe milk white glass in a staggered brick pattern (not subway tile, they are different sized rectangles, I think I saw them at Tile Bar) But I do love me some subway tile. ;)...See MoreKitchen Cabinet Color Help, Cool & Warm Grey in 1 Kitchen
Comments (5)you don't want white, and the darker colors, you say, will make it too dark, so that leaves you with light gray or one of those tones. what in the world are those cab made from? and who picked that granite to go w/those cabs? you say you're renting. they're letting you paint those? if they're made of a laminate type of material, the prep work for those will be necessary. quite frankly, I don't think it will look great painted. Do you really want to go through all of the work to paint those? have you ever painted cabinets? It's not something you can do in a weekend. Besides, that wood strip on the cabinets is kind of cool looking. changing out the country style cup pull to more of a bar pull will look better w/that style cabinet I'd leave the cabs and look into gettin a pre-fab, plain white or soft gray, quartz countertop. a 9' piece will cost about $450. fabricator can cut it to fit for another 600-900. maybe less depending on the layout of your kitchen. here's an example of pre-fab quartz, you only posted a small picture. post a pic showing the entire space...See MoreCabinet color help. Comments (5)Don’t update based on outdated things. Not saying you are but just remember this rule. Your home isn’t a time capsule unless you have a Victorian or other very strong period style (which I think you’d mention) . You aren’t going industrial or city vibe. But, with uber safe traditional choices, you keep your home in the past with an outdated look....even if it’s neutral. And that fails your goal of timeless as most things will....See MorePainting Kitchen Cabinets Help Please - Agreeable Gray, Extra White
Comments (1)I can’t speak to the other colors, but I recently used Peppercorn on exterior doors and a brick fireplace. I’m very happy with the look. Gray with only a hint to the blue. Here’s pics....See MoreRelated Professionals
