My Big Chill arrived today!

So thrilled! I have waited so long for this day.

I also got a Samsung induction range floor model for a great deal a couple of weeks ago. Could not pass up.

Wow Connie! You have some setup going, that's impressive. I'll comment on the ones I know about. I grew Vintage Visalia in the mtns but it never got taller than 4 feet up there with a 3 month growing season and the deer kept eating on it. It was the only large rose I had that last the 13 years were there, through all the snows I did no winter protection either. I've seen the rose bush at the nursery, it's huge, it stands about 8' tall or so. I don't care what HMF says, when I went down there to get another for this house and saw how large that rose gets I decided I wouldn't have the room for that one after all, LOL* Sequoia Ballet is another I wanted to get and was dissuaded from doing so last spring as a new rose. It had a great growing season even with our weeks of 100's and the rose bush they grow the cuttings off of is gorgeous and easily 5'tall and it was still immature. I got one in Oct after the manager admitted then it's a terrific rose, she was very impressed by how vigorously it grew even in the heat. In two months of growth this rose ended Dec 17"Tx19"Wide. Thanks To Sue is slow growing for me, I had it in a bad place the first fall and it was one of the last I transplanted last spring. I have it in full sun now and in cooler weather the roses are more an apricot and hotter weather they're yellow. It has unusual growing shape and leaves and as the plant matures then it holds the blooms up better. The foliage is very pretty on this rose. I ended the first full year with the rose at 18"Tx40"Wide. I was looking to replace two roses in front of my dining room in back of my other minis and I love the Hybrid Bracteatas, I asked and the manager reaffirmed that Precious Dream and Out Of The Night will both be excellent roses. The latter had 4 fat buds that tried blooming end of Dec but it was just too cold by then and the roses aren't very nice looking. Tells me though this will be another of my roses that should go all the way through on milder years. These should be in the neighborhood of between 2 and 3' tall depending on your season. Hello Friends, Andrew - I have ordered Tons of Stuff from them and have been so happy each time. I got a 5'-6' Foot Sweetheart Lychee, 5'-6' Foot Purple Caimito, 4'-5' Foot Jaboticaba, a 5' foot "San Pablo" Custard Apple, and a Awesome Pickering Mango tree that is fruiting right now. That is the stuff I bought. As for te Stuff I got for free. I got a Jamaican Strawberry tree which is now almost 7' feet, Barbados Cherry, A Guava, a 6' foot Grumichama Cherry, and a Sensitive Plant, and a couple of others. He really values his customers and wrote the book on customer service. Bo - Yes, I definietly believe in them and the proof is in the pudding. He really delivers and the product speaks for itself. He will do whatever to make you happy. Ask for some pictures so you will get exactly what you want and expect, and so there won't be any problems. Mickey is very happy to do so. I never wash my down beds - that clumps the feathers ! I do hang them out in the winter to fluff them up ! Like the German story for children : Frau Holle :) I guess it is a preference :) but Germans never wash their down comforters ( they usually cost about 300 dollars and upward , depending on the feather fill ) I just got rid of some my mom used to have about 45 years old !

Once upon a design plan, I almost took the Big Chill plunge. Plans changed and so did my appliance choices. Looking at your new baby though, I reminded all over again as to why I almost got one for myself. Very cool! No wonder you're thrilled!

I love the happy turquoise color and the retro look of your new Big Chill Refrigerator. We want to see more pictures of the kitchen since you have made a few more changes to help those of us that are still figuring out what to do. I am now thinking of painting my cabinets white or refacing them with off-white doors.

That is one way cool fridge, love the color and the feel of it in your kitchen. Can I ask if it's an Energy Star appliance and if the manufacturer is one of the well known appliance companies?

Thanks, folks! Yes, it is energy star certified because it is a modified Whirlpool model # W1TXEMMWQ. We were able to use our state tax credit during the last rebate period. Luckily, we have an in-state dealer we were able to order from.

I'll get more pics soon, but I've got to get the old appliances out of here since it's very crow.7.253-->
