Photos a little washed out. This is colonial Dream, not Cream.

Installed beginning of Feb and no real staining but we are careful. I did wake up one morning to see that someone had probably not seen that a drip from a juice bottle fell onto the counter and when I removed it there was a slight stain but now I can't even find it.

In my house, the stone takes on an oatmeal background with grey-black and brown veining and raisin splotches here and there. The big deal for me are the icy highlights that show up in our kitchen's low light.

Thanks! I think this might just be what I am looking for! Need to go see some actual slabs, but I think it will look good with our cherry cabinets. Anyone else have any light (not too busy) granite suggestions to go with medium-dark cherry cabinets?

Also, is there a difference between Colonial Dream, Colonial Cream, and Colonial Gold, or are the names used interchangeably?

We are thinking of going with Colonial Dream with our med-dark cherry cabinets. I don't know if the names are used interchangeably, but the C.D. we saw looked different to the ones already posted here.

Merimom, my Andromeda White granite is light and not too busy, but it doesn't have any brown in it.

That Andromeda White is beautiful! Looks a lot like marble.

Mine is not Colonial Dream or Cream but rather a light colored granite with some brown and quartz but no black in it. It's called Sunny Flower and I haven't "met" anyone else on the boards that has it. It is not from Lowe's. It is resined and soon to be installed in my kitchen!

We have Colonial Cream in our bonus room wet bar. It's tile and not a slab but it comes in slab too. It's very creamy and looks great with the darker woods around it.
