This forum has been so helpful during the last five weeks of our major kitchen renovation. We still have a few weeks left and we have finally made a decision on our granite...which was the most difficult experience ever! Anyhow, we are painting the existing cabinetry white as well as the new desk area. The island and wet bar will be painted black. We choose arabescato white for the black cabinetry (island/bar) and impala black granite for the white cabinetry (perimeter/desk). Since colors in the kitchen are black/white we really would like some kind of color on the walls and backsplash but we are having a hard time choosing what colors. Our wood floors are medium stain and will be refinished. All appliances will be white...for now. The attached living room is painted tan and the dining room/foyer is BM Nantucket Gray. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
