I like the tile on the bottom right...is that polished? I'm sure either one (or both) will be very nice, but polished sounds easier to clean. Of course, I have absolutely no evidence to back that up :)

The bottom left is polished (looking at the picture). The mixture must be very random because in the tile sample they gave me, there is only the 1 polished tile.

I like it... but you could create your own random pattern if you figured out ahead of time approx. how much of each you'd need. Then you get exactly what you want!

I like the combination of the shiny and honed, or flat finished. Texture is everything to me!

I admit to some disappointment after your thread title. If you could figure yourself out, perhaps you could have shared the secret. And, from what I'm seeing is the secret is TILE!

I think because your wall has a sheen plus a texture that combined with polished granite, I'd choose flat or honed. Not a mix, not shiny, just plain.

That particular tile will have a big texture provided by the grout in any event.

I think, though, that it tends peach (on my monitor) and I wonder if it actually clashes with your gold, burgandy, beige tones.

I was also going to say that the tile looks a little pink or peach on my monitor, and I'm not sure if it's the right undertone for your granite.

I also like calm backsplashes (especially with busier granite), but I like it to have a little variation. I think a variation in honed and polished sounds great.

I'll personally miss your backsplashes when you make a decision. It's always fun to see what you've found.

To me it looks great with your granite. I'd say honed, for the variety of textures.

My granite also has some peach undertones which has made it really hard to find backsplash - everything looks yellow next to the granite.

I am sorry, no help for the tile selection because I do not see tone/colors well and they look the same to me but what is your granite called? It is so pretty. That I can see!

I love simple as well. I used a polished marble with my granite and loved it. I could not find a honed finish that spoke to me. However, it is up to you and what does it for you.
