replace with matching water faucet/soap dispenser now?
Comments (7)Taggie: hahahaa. Yes, I think he would notice, because he would be the one installing them. âÂÂswitch the top part in for the stainless one and not mention a word about it. Don't know how observant your DH is, but mine would never notice itâ But you know, the water filter faucet is starting to leak a little (wink wink wink)â¦especially when I bang it w/ my big metal pan!!! Hahahaa Breezygirl: oh, IâÂÂm way past year 2012 birthday and anniversary already. My 4 girlfriends and I are heading to South Beach for our birthday celebration next month. For our anniversary, I got my beloved Vitamix Blender (oh how romantic). Christmas 2013 present = IâÂÂm getting the Blum Servo for the hands-free trash pullout. As for the handles: funny you mentioned it. Our friend came to help install them this morning. He didnâÂÂt have enough time to do them all, but he strategically did not do any of the uppers so that he didnâÂÂt have to fight me on installing them horizontally. I didn't mention that I hate wasting stuff. Yes, I can Freecycle them, but...still wasteful. thanks, Amanda...See MoreFaucet + hot water dispenser + soap dispenser
Comments (9)One thought on your decision is if the Blanco has a colander etc which you place on the right side of the sink, then perhaps reverse the soap dispenser to the left side. But yes, they drilled my holes all in a row, separated by chosen distances. If the hole size for the hot water dispenser and the soap dispenser are the same, you can always change them out. Don't let the plumbers use plumbers putty on installation of the sink flange or drain. Blanco recommends clear silicone for its Silgranit. Counter tops which etch shouldn't have plumbers putty either as it may etch from it I understand. Sorry, no pictures yet. Excited for you: countertops let you know you're half way there....See Moresoap dispenser--do you use it?
Comments (24)I have a cheap Ikea one that matches my expensive HansGrohe faucet very well :) I LOVE it, but second the "check your distances" advice. I let the counter isntaller decide how far back to drill the hole, and he lined it up with the faucet hole. It's too far back; the end of the soap dispenser doesn't clear the marble, so any spills wind up on the marble rather than in the sink. other than that, I am SO glad I have it. Otherwise, we'd always be reaching under the sink for dish soap or hand-washing. Or have a dispenser sitting on the counter . I like this much better!...See MoreSurvey-Hand soap or dish soap in built-in dispenser?
Comments (28)I love my Never MT. We built a new house and put one in each bathroom, where I use hand soap(softsoap) and in the kitchen where I use dish soap. The only problem I've had is that in one bathroom, I had to replace the Never MT...it leaked at the valve. This has happened twice. But it's still worth it. Actually the first one was replaced by the manufacturer after 6 months use....See MoreRelated Professionals
