Help with color selection for bathroom update

We would like to do a minor update on our bathroom. It is currently stained beadboard and we'd like to paint it. Thinking we'll get a new mirror (just one) and new lighting too. I was thinking of going with linen white on the wainscotting, but then didn't know what color of vanity to buy. We could try to just paint the existing vanity linen white as well but it isn't in great shape and I know the grain of the wood will show through. The rest of that floor in my house has linen white trim so I think true white would look out of place although it would make it easy because we could purchase a white vanity. Floor will stay as is...hardwood. What other color combinations should I consider? What if I went with a dark stained colored vanity (which would match the downstairs trim in my 1930's tudor house), but what color on the wainscotting? Please give me ideas! Thanks!
