Flowerpwr45, you should post more often. You are very welcome. I'm just so happy to know that people are enjoying it.

I do see questions here all the time (and some in the gallery too) that make it clear that many people are not aware of the gallery, or how helpful it can be. I hope folks will continue to suggest that people go look there. I can get answers to lots of questions there, like styles of drapes, or what to put on top of a table or dresser, what size rug to use, color schemes, storage ideas, wall decor, and on and on.

Hi Squirrelheaven, my island is actually made from an antique, 2-piece pine hutch. I separated the top and bottom, then "bridged" them with a small old bookcase I already had(think of a short but wide "H").It was then covered with cherry butcher block. It was a very cheap alternative to a standard island made of cabinetry. Thanks for asking!

I'm painting the outside of my house this week. Much drama re the right color beige, etc:-)

And Squirrelheaven, you'll appreciate this, after much debate over that blue green we both loved so much or Charleston Green for the shutters, I'm going Charleston Green (roof color issues with the other). If I could have gotten here sooner, I would have loved to have had your input on the house colors (and all the great landscaping you do via photoshop).
