I never considered doing anything to my laundry room until looking through those great pics. Anything that makes the idea of doing wash more pleasant is something I'm definitely in favor of. Oceanna, thank you so much for this forum and all the others you've dedicated so much time to. I really do appreciate the job you've done.

The gallery wall is too high and, as Flo recommended, a clean bottom line is a good idea over a sofa or console. Unless you are talented at gallery walls, it is very easy for them to go wrong. You need to create movement either in the shape of the overall wall, something unexpected like mirrors, a different shape or color. In general, I recommend a single piece of art instead of a gallery wall. Can you please tell me more about why you want a gallery wall? Is there something about these pieces that have special meaning to you? Perhaps they could go somewhere else in the room. I would work on an overall plan for the room first. I see you have color on the sofa, but neutral everywhere else. This isn't working. Can you please post a photo of a family room you like? Thanks.
