Hi Oceanna, I am sure there are more than just the posters, the lurkers too, who soooo appreciate the time you take to post to the gallery. Before my computer stopped allowing me to see the gallery pics, I always went straight to those when in need of a new idea or inspiration. Like you, I'd go browse hours if I was in need of something different on my fireplace mantel or a different look for my coffee table. I was always able to find something in the gallery as opposed to my decor mags that are now filled with nothing but ads and very little detail decor. "Who's holding back on a stash of their own?" I emailed you when I was no longer able to get into the gallery to view pics or to post them. Although they are not a stash of my own home, the link I sent you had pics that could be interesting to some who are into different painting techniques. Don't know if you ever checked that email addy of yours but I was trying to contribute, honest, really I was! *s* Can't contribute with my own pics because there is not a single room in my home that is completed. Working on it daily but have a long way to go.

I got one of the following for my nephew's second birthday (he's a HUGE Elmo fan). He loves it...my sister (his mother) suggests adding more to his wall for Christmas / his next birthday. Thank you, Oceanna. I just had some good fun playing "which would I choose?" I couldn't settle on one because my very favorites (urbane, artsy, books) lacked a serious work desk, but the one that lingers appealingly in my mind is instead the little wallpapered room covered with cerise roses on (?) brown, black? Good grief! :)

Thanks Emagineer, you're always so sweet. I do try to put little extras in the threads, like good organizing ideas, and little vignettes where appropriate. I'm always interested in those myself. Rosesstink, you're welcome! I'm redoing mine too, because of the flood. MORAL OF THE STORY: If you haven't replaced the hot and cold intake hoses behind your washing machine in the last five years, do it! They're under constant pressure and when they get old they can blow. Not the sort of thing I ever thought about before. $20 for a package of new hoses. $500 deductible to me, and thousands to the insurance company to repair the damage to my laundry room, sewing room, and garage. Plus workmen tromping in and out day after day.
