I love it!!! Where did you get it?? I painted my great room Jamesboro Gold (which looks just like the background on this) and my dining room is Woodland Blue..which is the lighter color on this...I would love this for drapes in my dining room!!!

I somehow recall that you were wanting the royal blue and aqua and brown in one fabric, tho, right? Or am I thinking of something else? Did you give up on the aqua component?

Good memory Les! I've been going around in circles about the colors in our kitchen. I was originally looking for cobalt (or indigo) and aqua, with brown. Then I realized I really wanted sky blue, not aqua, so I switched gears. I found the perfect fabric, then learned it was discontinued. So the search went on--until I found this, which I love. HOpefully it's the right color.

lmhall2000: Shoot. I think the online store has only 1/2 yard of it. When I figure it out, I'll post the info for you. If you tell me what color Woodland Blue is, I can check all the fabrics I've bookmarked. I've been looking for a long time.

I love looking at their fabrics but, to date, haven't found a blue/brown combo there that isn't spa blue or aqua. (I'm stuck on sky if I can find it.) S&N does have some really great blue and white jacobean or provencal prints, so I may use those if I can't find the sky blue, indigo and brown combo.

lmhall2000: That's such a great color that you shouldn't have any problem finding fabric. It does look like the above fabric would look wonderful with it. Is Woodlawn the same color as the spa and chocolate toiles?

I haven't purchased swatches of any of these so I'm kind of at the mercy of my monitor. I have more on my computer but not yet in photobucket. I'll look through those later although you can probably tell by now that I favor the jacobean and paisley fabrics--which might not be your style.

I like the fabric you found alot but I LOVE the last paisley with chocolate brown and blue! Ooo la la!

I just saw your response Lindybarts. I can't believe how silly I was. I saved the above photo but didn't save any identifying info--at least not on this computer. I better check the computer downstairs. Ugh!

On another note, the fabric store called me back and said that the tan background has a khaki green tone. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed.

I came home last night from LA and found a package of fabric samples waiting for me. The original fabric pictured above is beautiful! The tan background does have a greenish cast but it's not too bad, and the pattern is so much bigger than I had envisioned, but I'm pretty sure it's going to work. Whew!

And the other samples? In a word: hideous. They look so different; way too aqua, and some are even mint green.

Just updating for those who are also blue and brown obsessed.

The first fabric, while lovely, has a background that is too khaki/green, and the fabric in general looks not so good with my cinnamon cabinets. The other samples didn't work either.

So here is the latest find, although who knows what it looks like IRL:

It's in the works and I'm so impatient! I actually called Brunschwig to see whether it's been discontinued--since that seems to be my luck these days. No answer yet.
