Getting the right color cast in glaze to blend with orangey wood

I want to glaze a wall that already has a decorative paint treatment. Walnut furniture I bought (semi-antique) has orangey tones, whereas the painted wall has mostly pinks. I'd like to use something transparent over the existing paint to make it harmonize better with the orangey wood tones. I think if I can make the pink into a shade of salmon that would work. I don't want to paint over from scratch, the wall already is interesting the way it is, just the color balance is no longer correct.

But I'm not sure if just blending amber, yellow, or golden tones into the glaze will lead to the right effect.

Ideas? Thanks!
