In a previous house I used a liquor decanter. You can sometimes find them at yard sales or the Goodwill store.

I like Blenko, but I try to keep glass like this, especially things I might pick up with slippery hands, out of the bathroom.

Are they struggling? I didn't know, but I have only bought vintage I guess.

We use a cruet that's half of an oil and vinegar set:

Graywings, I worried about the lead content in older bottles. Maybe it's an unnecessary worry.

Terriks, that's really pretty. Can I ask how tall is it?

It's about 10 inches, including the spout. I like that you don't have to unscrew or pull out a stopper to use it. And the spout keeps the mouthwash from coming out too fast.

i wouldn't want glass in the bathroom either...you must have a careful dh!!
if i were looking for something, i'd probably look for something in lucite! OR--in club lockerrooms, mouthwash is often kept in dispensers with a soap dispenser type pump... easy to use with wet hands! (we keep the mouthwash bottles in the tower cabinets by the sinks...)

Do you have a vanity or cabinet storage in your guest bath? Our preference is to have that kind of stuff not out. Of course you don't always have a choice. I like the Blenko and I also like Terriks decanter.

Yes, busybee3, along with the size, the glass aspect is a huge consideration.

Tina, my choice is also to keep things under the sink, however......it doesn't always make it make under the sink. He at least puts the toothbrush away since I make such a big deal about what lingers in the air.

I'm also looking at the bedside carafes with a glass on top. But, again, that's glass. I also think they're made with much more fragile glass than the Blenko one.

Google acrylic oil bottles and many come up.

I found this tonight at Goodwill and remembered this thread. My mouthwash sure looks pretty, thanks for the idea.

Next time I go out of town, I am going to goodwill. I never find stuff like that in my area : )

Do a search at your favorite store for decanter or flask.

I like the one in the link attached from Pottery Barn, it is 7.5" x 4".

I love the PB decanter you posted above; I am thinking of using a glass decanter but I'd refill a travel bottle for DH and keep it filled in his drawer so he'd touch the decanter as little as possible. The decanter would be on a shelf in a stand alone unit close to the vanities. My vanitiy drawers can't accomodate the large bottle of scope. I've also had one slow leak in the past so I'm a little scared
of leaving a scope bottle lying down in a drawer.

sewwhatsew, that is so pretty! I love the round glass finial. I like that PB one too; it looks sturdier than some others I've seen.

As for me. DH has promised that after the bath is finished (it's still torn up) he will keep the bottle under the sink after he uses it. We'll see...Mitch's idea of a smaller plastic container that fits in a drawer is a good one.

I'm still looking for something for the master bath, though. Still liking the Blenko one.
