Alan - When you go shopping for any product, read the label first and see if it is safe to use it. You can find at any big box store the following products that I have used it before, remember there is no one cure for all, but it helps. Neem - use it as a fungicide and some insect control BT - use it for caterpillar control Currently I am using serenade for disease and spinosad for some bugs. When I mix the 2 together, I also add a few drops of Dr Bonners castile peppermint soap. I copied this recipe long time ago from Al (container forum) he said uses for whitefly, personally I have not used it. 1 quart 1 pint very hot water 1 teaspoon neem oil (cold pressed or virgin only) 4 drops Murphy's oil soap (or dishsoap) Shake well and add 1 pint of 70% isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol Shake frequently while spraying. When using any new product or recipe try it on a few leaves and see if it is safe for the rest. I don't spray flowers or herbs. Hope it helps. Silvia

Thanks everyone for your input. A bit of clarification: we have some freedom to plan the new build, so the counter width will match the width of the oven. I do not care that much about the counter (yet), I might put butcher block (wood) there. I am dreaming also about pyrolave, but am not sure about affordability :-] @moebus: Thanks a lot for your comment. You are right, I did not have any experience with 2 high end appliances next to each other, in my current place I have Elecrolux oven and fridge (fully integrated). Fridge works overtime when the oven is on. It is amazing if your Gag oven and fridge do not influence each other, but it is very good to know. @pricklypearcactus: My idea was to put the dishes on and off the rack with me standing next to the counter, with the oven on my right and to use the fully extendable rack. So essentially I pull the rack out completely,put whatever I am going to cook in the oven on it ( either straight, taking it from the kitchen island, or elsewhere, or lifting it a few inches from the window counter and moving to the right onto the rack).In both cases no much twisting's involved. Then I push the rack into the oven. Reverse order when the thing is done. I have never intended to "face" the hot oven over the counter, twisting over it. @fori: Webcam in the oven (actually now next to it) is a bit weird, but it has been quite useful to me. It is almost like baby monitor -- I can do things on a different floor or in the garden, and need only my phone or a computer (one of them usually next to me) to see what's happening in the oven. I am actually searching for heat resistant webcam that I can put inside, it will be even more useful IMHO :-)) Thanks a lot! MTC

If he were hauling your silverware into his van, would you wait until he had it all inside & then clear your throat & "politely" tell him not to come back? If you can't remove the equipment, ALL of it, by yourself, or if you're scared to try (might not be a bad idea to be scared), please enlist some able-bodied help & REMOVE the trespasser's belongings before he establishes a permanent right to do this. Call the police, call an attorney, call your friends with the biggest husbands/sons, but DO NOT WAIT & DO NOT TRY TO BE "NICE". Being nice is the way women get used, assaulted, & robbed. If someone perpetrated such an outrage on me, I'd be out there right this minute with an ax, making blue macaroni. & as I said, if he successfully establishes an easement, you'll *never* get it off; if/when you sell your property, that easement will be there for the next owner to tolerate, which will lower your property value.
