not the same level of hype but still a good thing

after these lucky ducks have gotten the fabulous finds, through craig's list and the other one, I should mention my new acquisition from Ebay.

I kinda got swept up in the moment and bid on more that I had planned on....

when I got the first 5 pounds of scrap glass, from the local glass place, I thought that was fun...loved the colors and different textures.

but I didn't stop there.

ebay had some things I thought would be a great addition..

like a 'lot' of blue

and a 'lot' of green

and the mixed colors....

so, without showing terribly much restraint.,

I ended up with a total of 50 pounds of glass.

I sat and cut up the 5 pounds, thinking.."I can't wait till I get my hands on a few more pounds"

not realizing just how much 50 pounds is going to be!!

oh, good grief!

I've been drawing sketches of things to do, on several of the clear glass vases I have, for projects.

I mean on paper, to put onto the clear glass vases..

I'm glad that at least at the times I almost didn't get the vases, that I went ahead and got them anyway..

can't go wrong, at between $.50 cents, up to $2 for them..

I have 'lots' of those.

my 'mentor' is trying to convince me to submit a project plan, so I can teach a short class, at the community/senior center...simple projects that some may have wanted to do, but don't know where to begin.

exactly like me, before I made my first vase...

that was a short while before the frying pan...

found objects, combined with the glass, for their personal touch...I guess I like that idea.

;(*_*); that's another class to teach

and the oyster shell Santas

and beaded 'memory' wire bracelets........

just in one hour classes..real simple
