I can't even imagine owning an Alfa Romeo. Wow.......stuff my dreams used to be made of. I did, however, take a jag out on a test drive, knowing full well saying I drove ten miles in it would be the closest I ever came to owning one. LOL. As for the Fiat. I also took a little Spyder out for a turn and got into a sticky situation. It was in the boonies, in the Ozarks, and my husband kept saying we'd better get it back to the dealership. So, reluctantly I looked for someplace to turn it around and ended up pulling into a tractor lane in a cornfield. Then I shifted to reverse. Nope, I tried again. Nope.......I never could get the little bugger into reverse, getting deeper and deeper into the corn field. I ended up making a crop circle or two, being obliged to take her out in first gear mowing down as little corn as I could. So, if you ever read about a crop circle in Ozark Missouri in the mid sixties, it wasn't an alien, it wasn't a hoax, it was just me.

Well I sort of thought the hype about RegCure looked a bit contrived - suspected it might have been self serving so I messed around with it some and.. You have to buy RegCure - I didn't see that right off. I tried it and it found 487 problems of which it fixt 3; the rest if it got registered. They haven't sent the KEY yet. Maybe you get one free run, ie one free fix w/o money. I ran Abexo and got 33 errors which I left. I ran RegSeeker (Same outfit ?) which got 115 errors which I eliminated. I re-ran Abexo and got 11 errors which I eliminated. I reran RegCure and got 473 errors. I reran Regseeker and got 6 errors which I eliminated. I re-re ran RegCure and got 477 errors which remain unfixt. What a crock! The mind boggles. For sure the RegCure ran way faster than tuthers. Perhaps it would be worth the money vs buying another printer but I spect it would be a gamble.

Well if you had success with Malwarebytes perhaps it is not necessary to run Superantispyware. If you would care to try then as you start the computer keep tapping the F8 button and a screen will appear with start up options. Select safe mode, everything will look totally different to the normal startup because only essential drivers have been allowed to start. My concern was the fact you mentioned AVG was not running properly. That is a good indicator of trouble. On reading the initial post a second time it appears you overcame that issue

Hi Bouncing... Here are a few random thoughts from someone who has worked in "Office Environments" and had my own home business for 15 years now. You've mentioned some of the types of items you'll need to save. Think them all through and create a list of categories. Then think of where you would be most apt to look for a document. Truly the art of a good file system is what works for YOU. Would you be most likely to look for billing with the contract for that customer? In a separate binder filed by month? Set up your accounting files separately so that tax time or pulling out a paid bill is fast and easy. I find it easiest to file paid bills by expense type (all phone bills together, all computer maintenance bills grouped, etc). A good guideline for categories is simply the expense line items shown on schedule C (I think!) of a tax return. Create a very basic index of how/where things are filed. If your DH wants to find the invoice issued to the Smiths, where should he look? Set up your files in a manner that allows you to easily box them up at the end of the year and start fresh. If you have to sort through folders when it's time to archive, chances are it won't get done. Make your archiving process as simple as possible. Know that you will have to spend time on "company administration". You've just become the office manager, bookkeeper and head of computer and systems maintenance. Allow time in your day for billing, filing and maintenance. Finally, I know you weren't asking on advice for *where* to put your office...but I'm going to throw some out there anyway ;-) Please reconsider setting up your office in your MBR. IMHO to work at home successfully you have to be able to focus on business - and you have to be able to shut that off from time to time as well. It can be hard to separate home life vs business life if the business is a few feet from your bed. Find a little corner of your home for your office. Truly, office furniture doesn't have to be really nice...just really fuctional. Determine what you'll need for file space and worktop space then determine your furniture needs from there. I've read your profile here and maybe you could even incorporate an ebaying station within your home office area. Best of luck for a very successful business for you!
