Clean up the rough up

This may be a simple question, but it has truly perplexed me.

I've recently built a table for my new Big Green Egg.

I've spent alot of time (and money) really trying to do this thing right and make it look clean.

For the finish i have chosen the Minwax Helmsman spar urethane.

Put a coat on last night and it's looking good.

The instructions for recoat say: "Let dry at least four hours, then sand entire surface lightly with very fine sandpaper (220 grit) to ensure an even finish and proper adhesion of additional coats. "

Before i first coated i used mineral spirits to clean off the excess dust.

Now that I already have a layer of finish down, what do I do to clean off the dust that I sand between the coats?

I'm thinking I shouldnt use the spirits, but I want to make sure there's no excess dust in the second coat.

Thanks in advance.
