I'm not a worrier. There are probably a thousands things I could worry about, but I can't make myself worry. Sure, I think about things I am responsible for, find a solution, make a plan. But that's not worry, that "get 'er done." I am concerned about keeping my teaching job next year b/c of budget cuts and the fact that I rank low having just started. But all I can do is my best, let it be known that I want to stay, and let things happen. So I am not even really worried about that. What will be, will be. If I sub again and wait for another opening, so be it. But things I can't control, or just don't need to control, nope. People tell me their problems, even family (my brother has a doozy right now that my parents are dragged into) but I am not responsible for that and really don't give it much thought unless I am talking with my mom and listening to her vent. I just let her vent and move on. I have concern for people, but it's not worry. There are a couple exceptions. I worry about my teen driving. That feeling is really what I call worry- obsessive thought about potential bad turn out over something I cannot control. That still freaks me out. One news story about a teen killed in a car accident and my mind loses control.

This da** shoulder of mine. The doctor was not happy with my shoulder, so I asked the sub therapist if we could drop the muscle strengthening and do the entire 30 minutes on aggressive therapy for the breaking the adhesion loose. I also told her I would like you working on me to finish up my therapy sessions. You focus on me and nothing else. Since them my regular therapist has been talking to other people while she is working on me worse than usual. So this morning when I went in she looked at me and asked what was wrong. I was not smiling and I always smile no matter what is going on in my life. I told her I was thinking of quitting therapy, but didn't tell her that she was the reason. Boy, she paid attention for the next 30 minutes and she got with it. She worked aggressively on me and had my muscles tap dancing. She put so much pressure on my arm she decided only to do 3 in each position. She said that's got to hurt, you tolerate pain well....yeah I do especially when I am mad. When I get mad I cry and I was near tears. Anyway she was concerned for me. I came home sore, but feeling better. Maybe the other therapist told her how I felt. I wouldn't care either way. BTW, she said she felt the shoulder drop a little, so maybe this will fix it.

Wow! 23 and a college degree! I'm impressed. You must know it all, then. You say, " I've tried to get him to do it, but he's always too engrossed in his games to even notice when she's being bad." So why is he too engrosed in his games to parent his daughter? If , as he claims, "[You're] keeping him from his daughter," , why is he spending what little precious time he does have with her, playing games and ignoring her? You also say, "I've talked to him about a lot of the issues going on, and it seems to fall on deaf ears. I'm also pregnant, and seriously don't need this stress." So, why is he not listening to you? Why does he seemingly not care about the stress that you, pregnant with what will be the _second_ of your children together, are suffering? I would have expected a caring partner would want to smooth the way for the mother of his child. If, as you say, " It just started getting this bad about 4-5 months ago. ", what changed? What was different then (besides the behaviour)? But, seriously, if his contribution to parenting his children is going to continue to be playing games and ignoring them while allowing you to physically discipline them as you see fit and do all the watching and organising, IMO you'd be better off not marrying him and parenting two children on your own instead of three.

unfortunately, you can't force someone to sterilize. There was a Judge that was censured because he gave a woman the option to sterilize or go to prison because she continued to have drug addicted babies. I think she had seven or eight of them and all were in foster care. The Judge got in trouble for that ruling, so it's next to impossible to make someone do that. Even if child services or family services can't remove the kids, they might monitor her situation and offer other services to her... parenting classes, counseling, birth control, etc. and they could require her to be on medication too. The children are all small and someone has to give them a voice. If their grandfather sticks his head in the sand or looks the other way, he is turning his back on his own grandkids. Is he in denial that he raised a child that is doing what she's doing???
