Love the fabric!! I think I would choose the yellow and would probably make it similar in size to the other one.

Where did you find the fabric, if I may ask? I've never seen anything like it, but I think it would make perfect pillows for my own furniture! :)

I adore this fabric, OS!! I think the white would be too plain on that chair though. The yellow seems to have a lot more depth.

kimberlyrkb: I found the fabric on ebay. I searched for it for over a year (yes, I'm just a teeny bit obsessed when it comes to textiles). I found it in blue on a website (see attached), but learned that it is $250/yard. Finally, it showed up on ebay, and I think I like the yellow just as much as the blue. :)

P.S. I did not pay $250/yard for it, btw. Much, much less, and less than a yard. I don't think there's any more of it, though. But keep checking ebay: the fabric is TRAVERS.

It looks perfect in there, Organic. That blue is nice too. Maybe you could get the blue, too. Frame a different area of the pattern, trim it up differently, and use it in your office : ) Looks like it would be great with your new rug.

Personally OS, I think you really ought to forget the pillows for that chair and send the chair to me to go with the sofa I received from Teeda :) ..........but.........I do love the yellow fabric.

With another yellow pillow, for the chair, I thought backdropping the other two yellows looked better, for variation. They also accentuate the color in those pillows, which is nice -- although they're just beautiful by themselves on the sofa. Thought you were already set for blue there!

Love the yellow. As for the pillow size, I'd do the 14x20 so that you can see all of the embroidered animals on the pillow front. WIth the 16x16 you'd loose either the bunnies or the animal to the right. Even though you did not pay the $250/yd. price, the fact it is worth this amount definitely means you should not cut anything out. I would think you may even want to do a custom size to showcase the fabric to best advantage--even if you need to custom make the pillow insert, which I think would be easy enough to downsize a larger sized insert. Another option could be to do a larger square sized center pillow (like 20x20 or even as large as 24x24) for your sofa so that it's more a focal point (and use a contrasting fabric for the backside if you need to). The contrasting fabric could then be used to make two smaller pillows to either side of the sofa. The ones you have now are very pretty, but you could always rotate them seasonally for different looks.
