I got an error message that this wasn't the right driver for my computer. Apparently it is not the right driver & the windows or the driver told you so. So I don't think I'd be installing it again. You may have been able to go to control panel and double click the Intel Graphics icon and set the resolution to the right size... but with that not the right driver message, you sort of did the right thing. That'll work! The proper thing may have been to go to Device manager and roll back the driver. Then microsoft would get the message and if enough people did the same they'd probably give you the proper driver as one of thier updates in the near future, if it is required. I had an intel 965 chipset graphic driver update from windows update for a vista laptop on April 7th. Works fine.

It really depends on your budget. Mac's are great computers and one of the computers I would suggest however some of the 3d programs might not be compatible with windows (ex 3ds Max) and will need to be used via Bootcamp on Mac. You want a dedicated video card, preferably Nvidia Quattro but most of the Nvidia's will do. Try to stay away from Nvidia Optimus because there's some sort of compatibility problem it has with Cad. Taigen -- The one I posted is a .jpg and has a white background. I actually found the same one from your search link -- on the 13th page of the results! -- with a transparent background. Thanks! Now, if only it weren't so "grainy" looking... Jodi -- Thank you! I've saved them both, but I prefer the one without the drop shadow, for my purposes. But, when I insert it into what I'm working on, it always comes in on a black background. Can't figure that out, since in the folder (where I saved it), you don't see any background at all (so it could be a white background or it could be a transparent background). Weird.
