It's funny, but I've been looking at how beds are made lately. The ones that I like seem to have a sheet, quilt/coverlet, and comforter. I was wondering how many people have that same set up and if it's a pain to make the bed. I was also wondering if they always keep the comforter folded at the end? Reno, do you have a Penney's catalog? I was just looking at mine the other day and they have some great examples of what I'm talking about. The website doesn't have the same pictures.

I love beautifully made beds too but ultimately just don't seem to be able to live with them.
I really connected with that scene in Along Came Polly when after taking the mounds of decorative pillows on and off the bed every night and every morning the two characters cut them to shreds:)
I have been struggling to try to come up with a way to make my bed look somewhat attractive with just what I sleep with with which is essentially a sheet, light blanket with a small fleece throw in dead of winter.

I've noticed that a lot of magazine pics have the covers "casually turned down". It looks like the bed is inviting you in, but do you know how long it would take me to copy that instead of it just looking unmade? LOL!
I could never get throws to look right, either! :)
