Our Robern mirrors started desilvering almost immediately. Robern customer service is terrible. These comments from self-appointed experts chastising users are too much. This is a defective product in engineering and manufacturing. It's not too much to expect a product made for bathroom use should be expected to hold up to the demands of the room. If you're selling products that don't, without warning buyers, you should get out of the business. I never used Windex and yet the mirrors still desilvered inculding mirrors inside the cabinet. The edges were not properly sealed and Windex was not the problem, nor is the user at fault. The manufacturer is negligent and so are dealers who sell these things knowingly.

Agree with Judy that the mirror should be the same color as vanity and side med cab should be the same color as the walls. Just be sure to get a satin or semigloss in the same color as the walls to paint the cabinet. Be sure to do proper prep to take the gloss off of all items before painting, use a primer, too. Top coat will stick better, be less likely to chip.

We have a wall cabinet above our toilet and my tall husband hates it, always thinks he’s gonna bonk his head or it’ll fall on him. It’s coming down during our next reno in favor of a bigger vanity. If you’re short maybe a wall cabinet is ok, but then you’re reaching around the toilet to get to things (don’t drop them!). I’d say it’s not ideal and would look for other options if you can.
