i was going to suggest stacked artwork 16x16 or as large that will look correct. 3 stacked will emphasize the ceiling height and add a bit of color. The hallway leading to my bedroom has a wall (right to BR left to Bath) I painted that wall hale navy with large gold framed art and an art light that doubles as a night light. The mirror you had there did nothing for the space. If you would still like a mirror, Id get 3 and stack them, pretty frames are a plus.

For the light fixture, I meant it’ll be 1 fixture and not 2 separate over each sink. All the more reason to go with a single mirror. One large fixture over two mirrors /two sinks will be odd. Consider going with sconces or pendant lights to "bring the light down" to face-level. Lighting that comes from face-level is more flattering than light coming down from the top, which creates shadows on your face. Another option is a back-lighted mirror, though you're talking real money when you add that. I'll say again: one sink, one mirror ... less cleaning, one less thing to break, more storage, more counter top. It's just sensible. Our trash can is in the toilet room Is that convenient? And the shower is to the right of the vanity with 1 cutout for natural light which isn’t much. You might consider a solar tube over the vanity to bring in more natural light. I agree with color or a design of some sort behind the mirror, then I can paint the whole bathroom. Yes, remember that whatever you place on the wall reflected in the mirror "counts twice" as it'll show twice. Since you have doors reflected in the mirror, again I'm recommending some type of wreath. That works on a door and gives you color, texture and a natural element. Yes our mirror is builders basic and I will continue my search for new mirrors. Don't underestimate how this mirror could change if you just frame it. That's quite inexpensive ... I'd go with black to tie into the vanity.

A few more photos of the entire bathroom would be helpful. What is the finish on the bathroom fixtures? How wide is the vanity with counter? The existing sconce placement looks high but it might be crowded if you move them lower to be on either side of a mirror. Have you considered an over-the-mirror light? Are there any walls studs that would prevent this type of fixture from being centered over a mirror? Are you looking for a flat mirror or a cabinet mirror with storage? It's stunning @salonva! Sorry to hear about the tile guy's accident! Hope he's ok now. Everything looks wonderful. Yes, I think a somewhat longer mirror will fit the space better. As you said, a small change. Good you caught the tub size issue before it was installed! Have you gotten the cost of the shower glass? That is the one thing I do not yet know the cost of since it's done at the very end. I mean, after the cost of everything else, I'm sure it will be a small percentage, but still it would be nice to have an estimate. I suppose I could ask contractor what he thinks it will be. My contractor told me 3 weeks as long as I have everything in house when they start. I find that really hard to believe. We have everything either here or ordered and expected before the start date. But there are so many moving parts, and things have to be done in such a specific order (marble slab on shower ledge wall before tile and shower bench, wall tile before vanities, wall tile before or after bench install? (no idea), etc etc). I sure hope the contractor and the marble and quartz fabricator work well together! Oh, wait, the lights I picked are on back order. Right now they're saying shipping on May 1st. That should be fine, I think. Even if everything else is done and I still have to wait for lights, should be ok. There will be pot lights and a chandelier. It's just the vanity lights that are on backorder. So we will have light in the bathroom even without them for a short time (I hope). I really don't want to start the search again! And I have to pick a paint color too. I'm sure that will be easy (NOT!). I'm very envious you are at the finish line.
