So apparently I can't add a picture and the text to go with it. Here is what was supposed to go with this picture: Hi there! I'm trying to find the maker of and where to buy the green lamp from the Dunphy's front hall by the door in season 1 episode 6 of Modern Family. Here is a screenshot I took of it. My wife absolutely loved it when she saw it and I'd really like to surprise her with it for Christmas. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Lindsey, I have a LOT of friends who still live in that neighborhood. Of course, bathrooms and kitchens have been upgraded, and additions put on the backs of many houses. But most people buy in that neighborhood because they love the old architectural details of the houses, and they don't destroy them. When Buckingham Palace is given it's upgrade in the next few years, I greatly doubt that it will be a gut job, regardless of rotting beams, wood, old plumbing etc. It will be repaired and worked around. When we lived there in the early 1980's, there was constant disruption from filming going on in the neighborhood - all those generators and trailers - blocked entire streets. The movie "War Games" was filmed across the street - they wanted our house but we were renting and the owners said "no" and that was fine with us. When a movie needs a neighborhood that looks as if it could be Cleveland, St Louis or Greenwich, they head to this neighborhood, as many streets have no palm trees. The movie "Mr Hobbs Takes a Vacation" was filmed right next door. We would constantly see houses from our neighborhood in movies and in commercials. Some people said they could pay their mortgage for an entire year on the fees they got for the use of their house. But most people got VERY tired of the noise, the confusion, the general disruption. An ordinance was passed that limits how many times a year there can be filming in a particular house, on a single block etc. And peace again did reign 'or the earth. It's that kind of neighborhood. People either love it and wouldn't consider living anywhere else at any price, or they hate it and wouldn't live there if they were given a house.

I have Cloud 10, actually this is my second one. Both were potted roses, the last one was from Star. As you know, Cloud 10 is from breeder Radler of KnockOut fame. Listed as a climbing rose 7-8'. Hardy to zone 5 but may only be a tall shrub in z5. Excellent disease resistance. Double flowers singly or in clusters. My first one was a wimp, died back to the ground every winter, never got much taller than 2-3'. The second one I planted last year. I mulched it heavily for winter and glad I did because it died to the mulch line. I think this rose likes lots of water and fertilized every 30 days. I usually only get my roses fertilized twice. Once with fish and kelp as soon as possible in the spring when they start to leaf out and then one application of Rosetone 3-4 weeks later. This year I fertilized three times and it did much better. It rained constantly all summer. It has finally made it up to the top of the pillar - about 5 1/2'. The flowers last a long time and repeat is good. Its not real full but with winter dieback all the time, it's hard to get many or strong canes. It isn't bothered with leaf spots of any kind. I don't think it is even slightly fragrant, but I can't smell anything anymore so I'm no help there!

Well except for those that live to do laundry, how long? lol When I buy electronics, appliances, cars, etc, I usually know more about the product than the sales people because of all the research I do. This time my one goal was to get a washer that allowed me to use as much water as I wanted...and the placard on top of the machine in the store said "Use as much water as you want". Altho that's not entirely true and it took upgrading to the next larger size (4.5 to 5 cu ft), I'm happy with the water levels that I can get to. I don't do any washes on auto. PDFs of both are download and is easy to find what I'm looking for. Grand kids were over for the weekend and I rounded up all their dirty and clean clothes to wash. I like to lean over the washer to watch it washing. I need more excitement in my life ;)
