Does anyone remember a poster who thought her white/clear glass tiles looked gray? I've been looking for the thread, but can't find it!! It was posted sometime at the end of 2008, I think....if anyone remembers which kitchen I am talking about, or has pictures of kitchen with 3x6 clear/white/light gray glass tiles, please post....

oops, dummy me posted to the wrong page.

I have glass tile but not clear or white....my is called cashew. I don't think the grout changed the color so much as enhanced it. Not really sure if that makes sense. Mine does seem more green than I thought but that could be due to the Costa Smerelda granite. The top picture shows how the color looks to me now and the bottom show more of what I thought the color would be.

I know I typed a response but have no idea where it went - never reply on the first cup of coffee.

3 x 6, prill, and I think it will be in a brick pattern. Soapstone counters, cream cabs, wall color TBD. Have you seen the Pottery Barn bathroom photo, in blue?

momto3girls - thanks for posting the link. It was not that thread that I was thinking about, but it looks like the poster in this thread had a similar issue. I wish he/she posted close-up photos!! The tiles looked really nice!

klutterkara - I love your tiles. I remember reading your post when you first shared the pictures. Thanks so much for posting again. How did you finish the exposed ends? Do you have any pictures to share?

lynda_baker - thanks for the link. I looked through the thread and saw one picture that looked like it had Bianco Romano on it. Nice backsplash! It looked like gray ceramic tile, though. Do you think it is glass? (I hope we are talking about the same picture)

Annanna - thanks. I have soapstone too. I'm waiting for a sample of this ocean spray color also. http://www.glasstileoasis.com/productcart/pc/C15-Ocean-Spray-br-4-x-12-80p577.htm - but I don't know if I would want 4 x 12. Keep me posted. Priscilla

Whoa, that Ocean Spray looks gorgeous! I loved the look of the 4 x 12 as well, but finally decided it didn't fit the style of the kitchen. My original plan was also to run a thin black line somewhere along the tile and perhaps outlining the range backsplash, but I nixed that as well in favor of an unbroken run of tile. (But oh, the black glass I looked at....) I think the tile might end up being my favorite part of the kitchen!
