Really Need help Please

I am married to a divorced man for 11months now. We just had a daughter about 1 month old. When I delivered our daughter, my husband was not here because he was assigned out of state. He came to see our new baby and me for 3weeks WITH his son from his previous marriage.

First few days went ok, but later on, I observed that he has more attention to his son (5yr old). Because of his job that is always out of state and sometimes out of the country, he only see his son very often, like the last time was last year (January) for a week and next was just recently for 3weeks.

I was still recovering from birth and it seemed that he was not very much helpful with me nor in taking care of our new baby but his attention was more focused on his son.

Things got worst, we were fighting and because of his anger towards me, he and his son went to the park. When they came back, his son told me that " Dad said you are a stupid Mom, You are a bad Mom". I tried to stop him from shaking the baby's carseat and that was what I got from him as his response.

I was very very angry then to my husband and couldn't believe that he was teaching a 5yr old for that. Also, I felt very disappointed that his focus was more for his son than to us (me and our new baby). I felt disrespected.

With what had happened, I realized many things. I can see that in the future, he will have more attention to his son than on us. I don't like our daughter to experience this kind of situation so for now, I think that I will file for divorce.

To add, my husband has severe anger problems and had hurt me emotionally, physically and mentally. This was the reason why his exwife left him, she couldn't handle this attitude. For me, I am pretty sure that I can handle his temper if temper was the problem alone but it's not.

Please help. Thanks
