Hafele makes a wall mounted board but I don't know what it is like. Hafele makes quality items. I put their pocket door hardware in my underway bathroom remodel and it is very nice. I will be getting their drawer mounted ironing board soon.

I have an Iron-A-Way with swivel board with two height options, outlet with safety switch (switches off when you put the board away) and protected shelf for a hot iron. No light or timer. We chose this model because it has a very sturdy door hinge. My husband builds furniture and made a custom door for ours, so it blends into the room perfectly. Our house is small, it's in a guest room/office area. I think the Iron-A-Ways are fairly expensive, but can be custom outfit to match any decor. You mentioned that yours will be in a basement... is the way it looks going to be important? Or are you just looking to save floor space? If you're most concerned about saving space, you may want to shop for a less expensive brand. The Iron-A-Way has a small board... it's fine for touching up shirts but I do still pull out my old wooden ironing board for larger sewing projects. Make a note of the kind of ironing you do, that will help you to decide what features are most worth getting. I'm pretty sure the Iron-A-Ways are made in USA, which was also a plus for us.

Wow. What are you asking for help with, exactly, since you say the "floor plan is set"? Do you mean the dimensions are set, but you can move walls? Do you mean you can't move walls, only cabinets? Or, are you asking how to put all that stuff in without moving appliances or walls? Also, where are these cubbies you mention? I don't see them in the picture. 5'4" is too narrow a "leg" of the room for front loading washer and dryer of normal size. By the time the washer and dryer are in, they will be at least 2.5' from the wall, leaving you less than 3' of "hall space" for your basket and to bend down to get items out of the machines. Unless you are very petite (in both stature and girth/trunk), it will be cramped to do that in the current set up (your behind will likely hit the wall behind you as you bend down). I'd consider turning the washer/dryer so they are at the end of the leg, facing the room, rather than on the long side, facing the wall. If possible though, I'd completely change your half bath and the whole mudroom/half bath layout. Is it possible to change from a square half bath to a long one?

I got on the website "Etsy" and there is a lady that makes all kinds of them including the pad and she seamed reasonable. Go to Etsy and search for "ironing board covers".
