I had it in CA. You do know that there are, roughly, two groups of Noisettes, which are Champney's Pink Cluster, Blush Noisette and their seedlings, and the climbers bred by crossing those with tea roses, called Tea-Noisettes. Jeanne d'Arc is one of the first group, a nice shrub to about 5-6' or so, as I remember. It was taller than I am. It produces pannicles of many small, sweetly scented white flowers, almost continuously. The early noisettes, en mass, make a lovely hedge. Mostly, they don't climb. It is a good idea to dead head, not the individual flowers, which is well nigh impossible, but entire pannicles once blooming is almost finished. Simply remove the entire huge panicle as one unit. Before you know it, the plant will have grown new pannicles. Some find the early Noisettes insipid; I think they are charming and make lovely backgrounds against which a gardener can display a collection of more flamboyant plants, like Pernetiana HTs.

We currently have a single bowl sink similar to the one in question installed in our 1840's farm house as a prep sink/pot washing area/farm sink. It's right next to our stove, which has been handy for things like canning, or just setting hot pots on its drainboards. When we put it in, the wall behind it turned out to not be perfectly flat, so there was a slight gap behind the middle portion but not the outer edges of the backsplash. We turned this into an advantage and store our knives there. Since this picture was taken, I've fitted a good size wooden cutting board on the right hand drainboard that's been very handy. We also could have custom-cut one to fit in the top of the sink hole, but didn't go that route. I'll agree that it's an awesome spot for washing veggies, fresh eggs from the chickens, filling jars for canning, etc. We've really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, ours is no longer in good shape. The finish in the sink bowl is no longer shiny, and is extremely difficult to keep clean. We've also chipped it in a number of places so that it has the black underbody peeking through. (Hint: Don't store your canned goods in the cupboard over the drainboard, they aren't nice to the enamel when they fall!) We aren't getting rid of it though. It's slated to go outside to be used in a summer kitchen where we can cook and can outdoors. Keep in mind that although lots of people like deeper sinks, if you are tall and are handwashing dishes, a shallow sink might be more comfortable to work at for you.

Marcolo in answer to your question on the finishes, it is close but not exact. Slight differences to me - the chrome is cooler/bluer compared to the warmer polished SS. From across the room not obvious but on close scrutiny I would say the stainless steel appears to be a touch darker (not duller) comparing it to the "brighter shine" of the chrome. Certainly not an exact match but the difference is slight and definitely not jarring. This sink is not centrally placed though and depending on your sink's location, design, and colors you may see the difference more. I think you really should compare the chrome next to Kohler's polished SS in your own kitchen light. I went through the same as you trying to find a match to the faucet and was surprised at so few choices, especially that there wasn't a spray available for the Chicago one. When initially searching for the Chicago faucet it wasn't clear that I'd be able to get the faucet I wanted. But I had a good experience working with them on the phone - the woman I spoke with was very helpful and started me off on how to find the necessary items to build my faucet. When I called back with my order list she confirmed that I had all that I needed. the first item listed here is the "Wall Mounted Fitting Less Spout and Arms" which can be deck mounted L9jKCP is the 9" spout ssjkcp are the angle shanks, etc. The cross handles are available too. It is true that some of the faucet companies make a level that they sell for lower cost through home center stores, but these will not have the same serial number as the more expensive, usually better made, faucet. I've noticed Home Depot seems to also carry more expensive lines too. For example, they carry the Whitehaven sink - and it is the real Whitehaven sink. A company cannot sell two different versions of the same product under the same serial number. If you see a well made faucet you like at a plumb supply store, get the serial number if you want to do comparable home center or online shopping. If the price difference is not much, I do try to give local companies my business.
