Help with crown molding and window spacing

I'm considering covering over my popcorn ceiling with some type of decorative ceiling tiles. If I do that, I was thinking of also installing some type of crown molding as well. My problem is one wall that has an angled cut out for a wood stove, and also has upper windows close to the ceiling. There wouldn't be room for the ceiling tiles and crown, and I'm not sure of the best way to handle it. Here is the problem area:

Should I forget the crown molding idea entirely, don't use it on this wall, cut the molding around the window trim or some other option? The window trim will most likely end up painted white, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. This is the only wall that would be a problem with installing crown molding.
