OK Ladies, where do I get in line for the daffydill juice??? That sounds good! Lots of ice. It's been so hot and it sounds so harmless, like something the fairies would drink :) I just saw frozen strawberry lemonade advertised at McD's, hmmm... Oh BTW, great job on the sign!

I like recycling, too. When the grandchildren had outgrown the big ugly rebounder we've kept in the garden for them and we could finally get rid of it we found it hopeless to take apart the frame. So we put it around our new round trial rose bed in the same size. We will keep it there over the winter to deter deer a little, hopefully. In spring we will bury it in the ground to make an edging, or at least a mark of where the bed ends to remind us to cut the edge and stop weeds and grass from creeping in. When the roses have grown a little we'll plant a low red barberry hedge around the bed outside this ring frame.

I haven't found anything I need at a garage sale in a LONG time! but I keep looking. Nothing more frustrating when you follow the signs, only to find out the sale was last week, last month, or last year! lol We were WAY out in the country and we followed some signs for a very LONG time, until I just got too freaked out! I was wondering if I was going to end up at some pschyo's house or horrors. So I finally turned around with the theme of "Deliverance" playing in my mind! lol

Thanks Luvs. I agree that sharing and chatting with other painters motivates. BTW, my friend just called this morning. She was bitten by the bug - that is, ready to do more shows! She is interested in a more craft version at a local one day booth. I think if I had lowered my price to just over the cost, I might have sold more. It would have gotten my name out. I did receive many compliments. I did have the original 24 x 18 eagle painting for visitors to see. This crowd was not buying much. This show has in the past been very successful and I hold it to the economy that it did not do better. (I haven't sold there, but I had attended years ago, and based on comments from other vendors) I think a more metropolitan area would have done better also. Anyway as I said, my friend asked me to go, so I did. And I was so excited to see her work sell! And enjoy her excitement. I'll be stopping by here more. You gals do such good art! cali
