Awwwww, thanks guys!! It was so much fun putting it together (I just hope it stays that way ! LOL) Garden2garden, my hubby said I should put the other one on top with it being deeper but the one I did use for the top is such a beautiful plate. I just wish I could've used something else as the base as I would've preffered to use that bottom one as a top for another project but it's all so heavy it really needed a heavy sturdy base. I also thought about a bird or two, I'm on the look out for some glass ones and I'll attach one or two later. Desertrat, I used 6 pieces, 2 large plates, 2 tall vases, a round vase and a small plate (upside down under the round vase) I think all up they cost about $12 - $14, I picked them all up from garage sales. They both are very nice looking. You did a great job. I love them hanging in the window like that...your right it does remind me of being in a tree fort. I have a thing for trees so I really enjoyed what you made!!!!

Wow, what beautiful colors! I installed a piece of art glass for a client. They had a plain, new, insulated bathroom window. I cut the piece of decorative art glass (one solid piece, no cuts, just one piece of seeded streaky glass) a tiny bit smaller all the way around. I installed it with GE Silicone Clear II, first running a thin bead all the way around, pressing the cut piece of glass onto it, waiting for it to set up, then running another thin bead all the way around, smoothing it with my finger, and it has held up now in their shower area for awhile.

Before you worry about curtains you should properly hang your stained glass panels. The way you have them now looks weird and takes away from the beautiful glass. Screw 2 hooks on either side, inside top frame of each window and hang your panels from them. As for the curtains, do you need them? Because your glass panels have now blocked the windows, your room appears dark. Old traditional houses that have small stained glass windows on both sides of fireplace don't usually have curtains on these windows.
