Awwwww, thanks guys!! It was so much fun putting it together (I just hope it stays that way ! LOL) Garden2garden, my hubby said I should put the other one on top with it being deeper but the one I did use for the top is such a beautiful plate. I just wish I could've used something else as the base as I would've preffered to use that bottom one as a top for another project but it's all so heavy it really needed a heavy sturdy base. I also thought about a bird or two, I'm on the look out for some glass ones and I'll attach one or two later. Desertrat, I used 6 pieces, 2 large plates, 2 tall vases, a round vase and a small plate (upside down under the round vase) I think all up they cost about $12 - $14, I picked them all up from garage sales. Thanks for the tips on photo uploading, I'll give it a try now so I can show you this from another angle. (((hugs))) Tracey

WOW Becky, that is such wonderful news!! Exciting that you got picked to do the sign, and beautiful workmanship. I can't wait to see it installed like everyone else here. And I like the idea of free drinks all the time. Hmm did you add that to the price of your sign?? LOL. Well, maybe next time. Just think of all the people who are going to see this, better get lots of business cards printed up for them to hand out at the restaurant. I really love this sign, very very classy. You go girl

They both are very nice looking. You did a great job. I love them hanging in the window like that...your right it does remind me of being in a tree fort. I have a thing for trees so I really enjoyed what you made!!!!

That piece of stained glass is gorgeous as is. Painting what is a lovely piece of stained glass would be a crime. you'd end up with what looks like a plastic immitation. It would certainly go with all the vines on your bed Frame, and color of the glass's frame is close to the color of your bedframe Your room and decorating colors are mostly neutrals and it would add a splash of color. If you really don't like it then sell it but please don't try to paint it and destroy it. You may have paid $3 but it is worth more that that
