Here's mine. We got it at Sam's for about $60. It's *heavy*. I was tired of our trashcans blowing over. I was also tired of my dogs being able to get into the trash. The only bad thing about this is that the top is pretty heavy, and that makes it harder for very small children to get it open by themselves. Our kids are 10, 14, and 15, but we entertain friends with smaller kids and they can't ever just throw their popsicle sticks away. I like some of the wicker cans, but some of them look like clothes hampers to me!

badgergal, thanks for the additional pic and the model of revashelf you used. it loosk like you have framed cabinets, correct? it is indeed very tight down there, but glad that i know it can work, especially with framed cabinets! i was not sure if i should use framed, though my preferred cabinet vendor only does framed. so this gives me hope! mtnfever, thanks for the additional info on your sink setup. your sink is quite unique. i am looking forward to seeing pics of your "new" vintage sink some day! CJ, thanks for the pic of your prep sink. i want to put the garbage pullout in my prep sink as well since i anticipate this will be where most of the mess will be generated. how large is your sink and sink cabinet?

Stump grinder..I need that! This house came with 12 stumps...most are cut nearly to the ground though..but some are nearly 3' across.. That morning tree/sun shot is stunning beauty! Christine, I only used the fine steel wool after it had "dried" out a bit..I don't have any high 100's sand paper at the moment. It was pretty crazy to watch the CS work..as I was slathering it on, it was moving the spray paint around in flecks instantly. Yes, it was a good thing it doesn't stain I forgot what I was wearing and went out to slam some more on one evening and sloshed all over a pair of new black yoga pants...but all is good.. :) I think next week I will take a door off the cabinet run I want pulled down..and give 'er a whirl with the CS. Can't be worse than the crap layers of soft chunky white paint. We are going to attempt to figure put how to open the gutters and flush them out..they have a knock off Leaf Guard on them..and I am quite sure full of Fir needles..as there is a weed growing out of one of them..lol Hmmmm something has agitated the neighborhood crows..they are fussin like nobodies business. It was peaceful on the deck...

Here it is! It's a row house, so long and narrow - the dining room is where the picture-taker is standing, and the living room is even farther back (the seating area you see is the "TV/play area". There are side windows up high. (Errant, they have a 20-month old son, so hopefully not TOO long before they have another LOL)
