I think it should be painted to match the trim, it will be too noticeable if you leave it natural.

I would paint it, also.

If no one else has posted since you last did, just change something in that topic line - put a III on the end or even a whole new topic line. That won't change the original topic line you used to identify the thread.

I like the bathroom floor color - that gives you something to build on.

I like the washstand idea better than the vanity.

I like the idea of painting around the stove pipe.

If you look at the link below, you'll see that historic colors were very bright, so the blue is not an issue in the space. The stark white is probably more of an issue, but easy to work with.

Maybe get inspiration from this color way for your paint.

Or take inspiration from a piece of art.

and that will give you lots of colors to draw on so the aqua will make sense and yet not read too beachy or too 50s.

egganddart, I do it the html way, which is very easy, once you know it.

You need to get the image address...I have mac so I control click on an image and it pops up with a menu including "copy image address" and I select that.

Then I come here and put the following expression in pointy brackets (less than and greater than signs) where xxx is that image address I copied.

If the picture comes out too large, then I just add a width phrase within the pointy brackets as follows:

img src="xxx" width="600"

That's it. You can use that phrase as many times as you want to post multiple pics in a single post.

Annie, thank you!!! With your html advice and some help from someone here, I FINALLY know how to post multiple pictures at a time. I've wanted to know how to do this for a long time. Now I think I'll redo my bathroom post, it was too clunky to understand before.
