I think you should let your new baby call you dad! You are it's daddy. The girls can call you by your first name, or some "dad" like term like pops. Maybe someday they will be comfortable calling you dad too.

I would let them call you whatever they feel comfortable with.
Perhaps over family dinner or Saturday morning breakfast you and the girls and mom sit down and come up with names for you (might get a bit silly). They might not come up with a name at that time, but the door is now open and the girls will feel comfortable trying out names. Don't force it too much. You might be supprised when they start calling you Pop or Dad. I agree with jennmonkey I too think you should let your new baby call you dad.
PS: Not everyone needs to call you the samething

My husband's daughter in law calls him Pops. I really like that name and so did my husband.

I'm sorry but I just can't get over the fact that you don't want your daughter to call you Dad. Why have you decided to take away that right? If the other girls have a problem calling you Dad, then that's ok, but imagine how they would feel if you decided they could no longer call their BF Daddy.
Let the child call you whatever it wants to. Worry less about labels - it's what the labels represent that matters. Good luck and congrats!!

I was devoted to my father (now deceased). Years ago, I always called him by his first name, becasue when my older sister was born, they were living in a duplex my grandmother owned, next door to grandma, with aunt and uncle living above the garage. There were so many people, my sister called him by his first name, so I did to.

I dont think anyone could love a father more than I did. Unusual -- maybe -- who cares.
