I just helped my cousin make a stepping stone in memory of her 16 year old son but I forgot to take a picture before she left. Will post when I get one. It was a dove. She helped make it so it made it extra special.

Hi, this is my first post to this forum. I've spent the last several weeks reading the post here, and really appreciate what I've learned so far about mosaics through the many creative minds here.
Annie, your cross is so very nice. I was wondering, what did you use to attach(?) the photo to the glass? Something on the front of the photo and/or something on the back ? A sealant of some sort ? In other words, how do you keep the wet grout from coming in contact with the photo paper ? Thank-you, Chris

Thanks everyone I'm almost done and hope to grout this week........Chris....this is my first time to do this photo thing so I'm praying real hard grout won't get under the glass.One of the other girls told me how to do it......You glue photo to glass with GE II silicone clear let that dry a few days then glue whole thing to whatever with the same glue....her grout did not seep under but like I said I'm praying...I'm going to mix rather dry and use craft stick in that area i hope I can show a picture of it done next week with no stains on photo i'll be sick if I ruin it now...Annie
