At this point I would buy a quart each of Edgecomb and GB and paint 2 very large swatches. Those 2 were also the final choices at my house and I'm glad I went with GB. I did a few spaces with Edgecomb, but I will be repainting with GB when I get motivated!

When you say you're looking for a complementary color, do you mean another paint color in the same room with the Bleeker Beige - i.e., one color above chair rail and one below, or just one wall painted another color? Or, are you talking about Bleeker Beige in one of his rooms, and a different color for his other room? Or, do you mean another color for fabrics, accents, etc? If you mean two paint colors that complement each other in the same room with that quilt, I think red always looks nice with navy and beige.

I looked up Wool Skein and it seems like it is more of a yellowish-beige than a gray/greige like Clay Beige. I am open to other suggestions as well. Yep. Closet color is different from a color match. Out of all the SW colors, Wool Skein is the most like Clay Beige in terms of hue, value, chroma and LRV. And it's true that color can be off from one purchase to the next. Even the shaker speed can affect how the colorants are blended into the base. It's always a good idea to buy the quantity you need the first time around.

Thank you very much for the tip on OC 11 - looks to be a touch lighter than I was thinking of going. What is it about this color that makes you feel that it is a good match with these paint colors? Whites are so perplexing to me!!! FYI, I think that I am leaning to Natural Linen. Also worth noting that I am going for a bit of a warmer vibe....this is a mountain house, trying to keep it feeling "mountainy" !?!
