Bathroom fixtures: Mix Bronze and Nickel?

Hello! I am planning on getting a bathroom light sconce that is mounted on a bronze bar. However, I'd also like the sink and bath/shower faucets to be polished nickel. Will that look odd? Please chime in. Thanks!

I can only say I have a ORB hanging pendant over my SS sink and the faucets in the sink will be shiney chrome. Any mistakes being made, I'm the one making them!!!

In the baths I did match all the fixtures. I think it is more noticable in the bath because it is such a small area.

ummm, I haven't any. I put up bn look command hooks for the wet towels on the face of the shower as a temporary measure until I could decide on what to get. I only have one place (in that huge bathroom) where I could hang a bar, but the area ended up being a few inches narrower than I thought and am worried about it (a bar) encroaching on the space where the toilet is. I've got my eye on the tp holder that matches the faucets. It's brushed nickel and since it would be on a painted wall, i think it would look better than the orb. But can't commit until I decide about a towel bar for sure and the matching towel bar sets out too far from the wall for that space. So I am pretending that someday I'll figure it out - until then the tp sits on the back of the toilet. I am the only user, so it's fine.

That is actually similar to what I'm planning: bronze lighting fixtures and brushed satin cab hardware. I've seen quite a few similar kitchens w/ this arrangement. I love bathrooms with mixed finishes. Google images, they are gorgeous. In my in-laws bath that I'm designing, we're using a gold-framed mirror and gold finish lighting, but chrome faucets. I've seen some black and chrome mixes that look fabulous as well. And gold/brass kitchen cabinet hardware with chrome faucets is a great look you can find lots of pictures of online.

I am in the process of having a bathroom done with polished nickel faucets, shower/bath fixtures but ORB lighting (pendants and sconces) and knobs/pulls on the vanity and doors.
The shower door will probably be bronze as well, but I think (THINK) I will do an extension mirror framed in the nickel.

I am excited to see the different finishes together.

OTOH, in my girls' bath I did faucets/bath/shower fixtures in satin nickel, lighting in satin nickel, tp holder in satin nickel and I kind of wish I did some things in polished but it's not working for me (in my mind). Do you all think I can switch it up and do the shower rod/rings and vanity knobs/pulls in polished and have it work? SHould I make the TP holder polished too?

You may not be able to see them well in this pic of my half bath, but I mixed satin nickel and polished chrome. The chandelier and sconces are satin nickel; faucet, and (not visible) towel bars, TP holder, and flush lever are chrome. In the corner cupboard, I have bits of old sterling, and tiny pieces of Mercury glass to really mix it up!

I worried at first that I wouldn't like the mix of chrome and satin, but I'm very happy with it.

Here it is. I make all of my WTs and this is VERY simple - no pattern required. The fabric is by Covington and is called 'Seaworthy'. You can find it at the link below in 4 colorways, in rows 7 & 8 of the link.
