Thanks Duchess,we are still researching the soap,we want to tyr using olive oil,in place of animal fat. Up date on hubby: OK, now listen to this,when leaving the emegancy room, they said to put an antibotic cream on the wound,so i did,. The next day, the doctor saud NO,do not use that,i felt really bad, like i did something bad for my husband,i told the doctor they said to use it,but he still said no. Now, this morning when we go in for his check up, they soak it in a salien solution,mixed with peroxide,said to do this and buy this,so i did. The drugest said to never use peroxide,because it kills tissue,he says,did the doctor tell you to use this, i said yes,he said,well, i guess if sai so, but i would never reccomend useing it. No wonder they are so many that end up with an infection,every one we talked to had something different to sayon how to treat this wound,i just feel like screaming! Sorry, i just had to vent,so now i don't know if i should use the peroxide or not.Doctores do not know every thing,this i have found out over years. I will be doing more WSing later today,seedmama is going to do a container count for us,thank you seedmama Carol

Some of the busier soap forums will have the information you are after. Try the Soap Dish; I remember reading about formulas for figuring out wooden soap molds (it was quite a few years ago).

They are very pretty, Hazel, but I agree with you that the picture (or our conception of the picture) was misleading. They did make very nice petals, but don't seem to be nearly as impressive (in shape, size, and intricacy) as the photo posted by the seller. However, they are beautiful and I think they will sell well. Susan

Someone (princess soap "something or other" LOL) that I poured the soap too hot...that coupled with the fact that I should've taped the bottom to secure...but I think that the temp was most of the problem. The shape of the soap was pretty neat though. Jill
