It’s Time To Relax: Bathroom Sanctuaries
Today’s world seems like a never-ending compilation of problems, add to that day to day occurances and we are all living on stress mode. It is crucial to stop for a moment and realize that life is just too short and that we deserve time to relax and enjoy ourselves. With the economy declining it’s a challenge to go to a Spa and receive the needed pampering, so if your wallet is dwelling on the dark side and you need some “me” time, look no further. Your bathroom is a great option for relaxing and unwinding.
It is possible to create a relaxing bathroom in an ordinary space, but if you have the opportunity of molding out an architectural area, it will be much easier. "Getting the bones right first" is a common phrase used by interior designers and architects when referring to this interior architecture process. Architecture will be the structural framework of your bathroom's style and feel.
But I have good news because the main “feel” of the bathroom lies in the small touches. Even if your bathroom is lacking a “Zen” concept, you can still recreate a place that can soothe your soul and help you recconect with yourself. Get away from the chaos and indulge in a bathroom full of special details. Pick flowers at the market and some fragant candles, buy bath crystals and organic soap. Then add some music to create an ambiance. After all of this you will no longer have the need to go to a Spa. Make sure the area is safe and that you have the time to be by yourself without any interruptions. Remember that you deserve a break!
These images showcase some relaxing elements, but it is imperative to add details that relax YOU.
Go ahead and relax, take it easy.

Flowers, candles, good lighting and a view. Just add some great tunes and you'll be transported in no time.
I think nature is a great way to relax. Hiking, going to the beach and many other activities help in disconnecting oneself from the chaos. Having a bathroom that imitates nature's grace is a wonderful idea for a relaxing session.
Colors also play a big part in relaxing ourselves. Azure, aquamarine and other tones of blue are very soothing to the eye and also add a nature feel.
I love the idea of having the bath in front of a spectacular window. A view has the power to relax you by itself, imagine having a Spa experience on top of that.
This is a simple, clean and relaxing atmosphere. The window introduces huge amounts of light and the bathroom looks comfortable and cohesive, very relaxing.
This is my favorite of all bathrooms in this ideabook. The garden is located outside but feels like an interior garden. It has a great big window, awesome lighting and an attractive color scheme. I think this one if perfect. Its great that the tub has its own area.
Bathtub with a view? How about an outside tub! If you are sure no one's going to see you, this is the perfect way to relax and connect with nature. I hope is not too cold outside.
What a beautiful bathroom. This classy style can also be very relaxing, especially with a view like that. White is always soothing and adding special details like gorgeous flowers and small trees is amazing.
