Thanks daisy. I talked to someone else who said to use mineral oil too. He said to do a 50-50 mixture. So I melted the beeswax and added the mineral oil and stirred it together. Once it hardened it was again pretty hard to deal with. I think I'll just need to soften it some to work it into the casting surface. I'm surprised other people aren't making food safe bowls with their leaves. Or maybe they are and I just couldn't find it in my search.

Thanks everyone! I thought the ice cream freezer was cute, its barely a two quart size, smaller than most. I think I'm going to use it to display with many of my other green kitchen collectibles. I have a nice electric one for making ice cream! :)It did remind me of when I was a kid and my parents had a hand crank one. I used to have to sit on top of it while they took turns cranking it.:) The box you see in the background is one that I use for a shelf for some collectibles. It normally hangs on the wall in the kitchen and I had set it out on the porch so I could clean it up some. The BB will eventually be a fountain. I won't be adding marbles to that one! LOL! Its cool just the way it is.:)

I can't put pots in the bed... that's where the dog sleeps! There would be no room! I wish I had more window space... but I do still have plenty of room to set up more of the little mini-greenhouses and add grow lights... I just prefer natural light for plants, and I'm sure they prefer it, too... Luckily, I bought four of the mini-greenhouses... I intend to use most of them for seed starting in spring, but I may need to commandeer at least one of them for my bulb collection until it's warm enough to bring them outside for the season. The only bulbs that won't be going out to the garden are the young ones and my Minerva. All the others will summer outdoors. I think they will need the time in the sun... a few of them look like blooming might be taking a lot of their energy, and they will require more than just a spot by a window to fully recover their strength and size...

You won't need a tape measure in your purse, though--you'll probably come home with half a dozen paper tape measures in various pockets :) Yes, textiles of all kinds--pillowcases, rugs, curtains...Some Ikea draperies are used in very upscale houses I've seen in magazines... Also bathroom accessories--several lines of them. Office accessories. Storage of every conceivable kind. Hey, you know what--go to the Ikea website and get a preliminary look! Then at least you'll have some destinations in mind for after the AS-IS room :)
