Hows the weather in your neck of the woods? Here in Chicago we are getting clobbered, and their calling for a major blizzard later tonight 18 in. or more, oh fun!! Sure does look pretty though, and my dog loves to play in it especially when I throw a shovel of snow at her LOL.

I live in Tracy, California and it's cloudy (looks like rain). Not very exciting.

Snow sounds like more fun right now !

Hi, I live in Michigan, in the thumb. We are also getting
lots of snow with blizzard conditions. The media is advising no one to venture out unless absolutely necessary.
Hopefully, I won't have to work tomorrow and just stay inside scrapbooking!

lol....we dont use those steps...we have 2 entrances and I prefer to use the kitchen entrance,you would be surprised how many people will still choose the set of steps wth snow on them opposed to the clear ones...lol...hmmm....let's see...we have one set of steps covered in a few inches of snow and one that has been shoveled and salted...which will I choose?...Oh I guess I'll choose the snow covered ones....lol...sometimes people worry me! ...lol...:)

You did it, Margie! Instead of raining this afternoon (on roads that must be all of 20F). Thankfully, it snowed lightly thru the day. We will have a White Christmas, after all! Frou..what a lovely - lovely table. That milkglass centerpiece it's just so pretty. Your snowflake tablecloth is just perfect with your place settings (so striking)..and I love the added snowflake for each. I think the glassware and their color is just beautiful too. What a clever way to 'swirl' the snowball/pom-pom garland around the table...it's such a lovely touch. We got tons of snow here the other day and more is on it's way... Shall I fill up the bus? jane

I'm glad you finally got your snow. We had 5" this month, which is unusual, but not unheard of. We get a "significant" snow event about once a decade, if memory serves. It does seem that with climate change, our summers are getting hotter, and our winters are setting daily records with both highs and lows. From Weather Underground's blog: "For the month thus far, record lows are still outnumbering record highs for the nation as a whole. As of Fri. 1/11, January had notched a preliminary total of 2848 record daily lows and 1747 daily record highs, according to NOAA/NCEI. Yet another crop of daily record lows may emerge this week with the latest shot of frigid air, which is expected to push temperatures below 10°F all the way to the northern fringes of Texas and Mississippi. Some locations from Texas to Florida will experience their second or even third round of frozen precipitation this winter." I have no idea what this will do to my plants, but I am glad that zone-pushing is not one of my hobbies, since I have no greenhouse, just a screened back porch. If 'Cardinal de Richelieu' doesn't bloom this spring, I kinda suspect that's just not on the cards for me... I even stripped off his leaves after the cold, though they were mostly still green and attractive. I hope you get a winter that's closer to what you consider "normal". Virginia

In South Dakota, it is 20 degrees below wind chill. We have a little snow.

Brrr that's pretty cold! Your pages are really nice, they have made a lot of progress on the Chief, we were there several times, the last time was 6 years ago, beautiful country!

Snow ?? All we are getting is rain but then if we get one good snow a year, we are lucky and the entire upper half of the state shuts down! I am just south of Atlanta in GA. We did have a few sprinkles one day last week and also some sleet but no snow on the ground.

Y'all take lots of pictures so you can scrap them! We don't get to do too many snow pages. But more than that, please be careful and have blankets in your vehicle if you travel.

Just moved from Atlanta (Marietta) to Florida. While we didn't get much snow in Marietta we could usually count on one good snowfall a year and Rebecca is right - the whole area shuts down! My children keep asking when the snow will come here in Tampa - they are VERY disappointed with none. I had to turn my A/C back on the other day because we are very humid and mid to high 70's.
