Jeanne, your table is just lovely! The centerpiece is perfect, simple but so eye-catching. And you know that I love the addition of all the white bunnies (and tea pot). I am a firm believer that bunnies go with any and all holidays. LOL. Probably cause my house is overrun with the non-real kind. And none of those in the yard causing mischief, thanks to my life as a city dweller. Sorry I'm late to all the Memorial celebrations. And I never did get out my decor either. I'm going to give myself one more chance...4th of July...and if it stays packed again this year (be two in a row), then it will have to go. New rule I'm trying to enforce, stuff can NOT stay packed several years without seeing the light of day. I need to let someone else enjoy it if I can't. Anyway, I definitely enjoyed seeing your pretty things and am so glad you decorated for "us" here. ;o) hugs, Karen

I think I saw a soccer layout once that was a soccer ball with pictures replacing the black hexagons (it IS a hexagon, right???). I want to say it was in one of the CM idea books, but I'm not 100% sure. Just checked my books and it's not in them. I must have seen it at a crop then - someone must have done that. Anyway, that was my idea. Does it make sense? Finally, in the newest CM book (#6), there is a soccer layout -- very simple, green strip going down side with smaller strip of black inside of it. Soccer ball stickers down the center of black strip. The word SOCCER across top with ball in place of O, the word GOAL at bottom, on an angle, with ball sticker at the end of the word and in 2 open corners is just a small green triangle with goal posts and soccer ball on each one. LIke I said -- very simple.

I have 3 books by Hot of the press: wonderful pages, great pages, and brillant pages. It is a good source of ideas for me. Just ideas, I don't try to re-make pages but just pick up ideas, one border here, one die-cut there. My DH brought me back wonderful et brillant pages 10 days ago. I bought the other one 1 year ago when living in SC. My preferred one is wonderful pages. it is more basic, and I specially love the basic punch art pages. DH brought me too punch your art 1 and 2 by Memory makers and they are a great source of ideas for punch art. But what I found the most interesting are magazines, because they have tons of layouts . I have a subscription to Memory makers, because it is impossible to find here, and I got the may-june issue of many others by DH too. With all these new sources of ideas, I have been scrapbooking night and day for the last 2 weeks :-) Did you try to find some books in your local library ?
