The last december issue of Memory makers magazine I think, was about teabag folding, and they have a book too about this technic (it comes with paper specially designed for that). A friend of mine tried,and it is really great. The only limit, is that in pages protectors, the 3-D effect disappears, but it is also a good way to frame pictures to put on the wall!

I bought a book a little while ago on teabag folding at my local scrapbook store. It included the special paper with it, plus the store also sells it by the sheet. This paper folding originated in Europe, supposedly as a woman sipped tea,she picked up her teabag envelope and fiddled with it until it turned into a star shape. Its kinda like origami, but you can make frames and 3-D flowers,etc. Some of the designs are more difficult than others. The book is by Design Originals. Here's a site -

Teabag folding is a wonderful technique that came from Holland. I have included one link that teaches it although there are several on the net.

I've taught classes on paper folding. It is really very easy and gives a lot of visual interest to your pictures.
The link from Wendy is excellent. For more info I recommend
the book "Memory Folding" by Memory Makers. It gives easy instructions and includes samples of paper so you can try it out. The projects in the book go from very easy to advanced.

I have never seen teabag folding, but it sure sound's like it would be fun to try. I have been scrapbooking for about a year & a half, & have had a lot of fun with it. Im alway's looking for new Idea's.
