Doorstops - Can't Believe There Are So Many Choices

I need to replace all the doorstops inside my house, which are about 15 years old, and were corroded-looking when I moved in 2 years ago. Just haven't gotten around to it until now. While door stops seem to be a pretty minor item, I am amazed at the selection out there. The brands I've seen mostly are Ives and Stanley.

So the choices appear to be either solid brass, or solid zinc die cast, or a spring (the kind that goes Boinggg if you hit it), or white plastic (which I guess would disappear against my white baseboards). I know this subject is pretty small (literally and figuratively), but can anyone clear up the mystery of door stops and tell me which ones are the best to get? Thanks.

Here is a link that might be useful: Stanley's Selection of Doorstops
