pghgardnewbie, I forgot all about those "bowl" people made from bottle caps. I always thought those were pretty cool. I could see making some sort of figurine for the garden with arms and legs made of bottle caps. Something like that with a bowl would make a cute bird feeder. And I followed one of the links at that Bottle Cap Masters' web site to a Christmas tree at a bar in Kenosha, Wisconsin made of bottle caps. Next time I am down that way, I'll have to try and find it. kandm, I recognized Snow White and her odd number of dwarves (she is missing 2 or 3) from Grandview near Hollandale, Wisconsin! I went there a couple of years ago and that place is truly awesome. Some very cool ideas! Now I just have to start drinkin'...

Yep, leave the cap off or the seedlings will roast. If you check out the forum on wintersowing here on gardenweb there's TONS of info in their FAQ page. Or just make a post there, there's LOADS of helpful people that will steer you in the right direction! :)

He is a plumber. No he is not worried about getting it on his hands. He needs to paint some gas lines sometimes on the job. Obviously he does not want to make a mess in a customer's house, and it's always a small amount. And he is used to the brush in the cap because many plumbing glues come that way. I had an idea today, about maybe a baby bottle and somehow sticking the brush through the nipple. Worst comes to worst, I might by a bottle of school glue and dump it out and clean the bottle & brush.

I'm a jewelry fiend....so of course I'm gonna say "make some charms" !! lol ...like for charm bracelets!!! Print out photos of family or vintage photos, or even just words or pictures, or bits and pieces of different things. Drill a small hole for a jump ring.Use them in altered art collage work. Christmas ornaments like you mentioned. Magnets with photos or bits....try some resin, since you have 500...you can make plenty. Add glitter to some, just a teensy bit. Try a picture, and use pliers to "fold" the edges of the cap over to the front, especially if it's colored. Leave them like they are for resin.
