Can't believe I found these stickers!

I have been searching everywhere for some of these stickers and found them yesterday at K-Mart! I am thrilled, I found the following: Care Bears, Strawberry shortcake, Bart Simson, Football teams, and Woody Woodpecker! If I had found the Cabbage patch, and Barney stickers I would have been in heaven! Penny the sticker junkie too.

Ooh, great finds, Penny! I found Strawberry Shortcake scratch 'n' sniff stickers at a grocery store once -- I think they were from Hallmark. I loved them so much that I didn't take them out of the package (I could smell them through the packaging)...then when I finally decided to take them out MONTHS later, they didn't smell anymore. :*( Phooey. ENJOY your stickers. (heh heh...) :o)

Leah

P.S. I *know* I've seen Barney stickers before...maybe at Hallmark or Carlton Cards??

Hey Penny, if the stickers are 4 sheets to a package and you feel you have too many, I would be happy to swap/purchase some of the Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake. I am going to have to try my local KMart for these! They were my children's favorites while growing up. Rebecca

WOW!!! I know that was a hard thing to do. I kept waiting for the Polydamas butterflies to find my calico vine but they didn't touch it this year. It took me a while to finally give in and cut back one of the vines that had latched onto a light pole on the other side of my fence. That one worked it's way up to the top of the pole and it was covering the transformer - figured I better cut it down before it caused a power outage!!! Have yet to cut back my yellow morning glory vine though...that one has covered two 16 foot long fence panels, covered a 10 foot tall pony palm and worked its way up into my neighbor's oak tree :o) That's what he gets for allowing the branches hang over into my yard :o) ~ Cat

Congratulations! As Rebecca said, yes, weave in your tail. Be sure to go up and down, not side to side. Side to side will take away from the stretchyness provided by the ribbing at that point. (I once did side to side weaving on a sock where I changed colors frequently, and it really make the sock hard to get on.) Can you join at cast-on so you don't have the dip? I join by the trading stitches method. I don't know how others do it. Yes, picking up stitches for the gusset is the hardest part. I usually pick up 2 extra also. I bought double sets of needles and worked on each sock alternating back and forth so they were both done at the same time, but I have never had "second sock syndrome" where I didn't want to start the second one. He wants to play with your masterpiece, your fabulous creation!!!??? LOL! Oh well, at least he takes an interest in what Mom's doing. Tell him you'll knit him a pair to wear one of these days. Cute story.

Sandy, I was concerned because I heard that Hideout tends to spread and may not really be a mini. I didn't want it to be too crowded. But if I can butt that garden border wall out a few inches, that will allow me to make the space. You are right; always room for another hosta!

cpartist why would you want to run all the way to the garage to get a step stool Thank you, Claire. The door to the garage is right next to my kitchen so no running. And I live in FL so it's not like it's a problem with cold air. Heat yes. Cold no. There is a space right next to the steps that lead down for a hook on the wall for the step stool. It's really not an issue as I had thought it might be. cpartist does this tall cabinet actually exist in the kitchen where you are able to add a bar above cabinets and have the ladder tucked away when it’s not in use. Yes it does but as noted in the drawing that is a wall up against it. Plus there is no room. Also my kitchen is mostly finished. The cabinet peeking out on the left below is the cabinet you circled. The wall next to it juts out 24" to frame in the nook with the buffet. To the right of the buffet is the door to the garage.
