Oh. Mah. Gawd. You guys are freaks -- freaks, I tell you! And I love you all the more because you're so freeeeaky! There is some amazingly awesome stuff in this thread. Makes me want to add even more bizarre stuff to my house, because, really, who wants to live without humor and whimsy and ... freakishness in their lives? ;-D Well, I'm the only person I know of whose house is Tudor cottage in the outside, Little Mexico on the inside. What's odd is that I recently learned from the woman who grew up in the house in the 40's that her mother was fluent in Spanish and had a love affair going on with the Latino culture. I had sent this woman some current house pix, and she said her mother would have loved it. Here are a few of my oddities: This hideous little truck - how I love it! It's moved from my kitchen to my living room mantle. My nephew came over one day and played with it, and ended up gouging the wooden bun feet of my sofa with it. ::sigh:: I have a Tatouage chicken on my hallway wall: There's a rusting rooster guarding my side entry: And a scary troll dude sitting on my front porch.

I am just piddling along~~~the earlier I shop the more I buy~~~for Myself~~~Went to Kohl's today bought 60bucks worth of stuff and realized on the way home it was Halloween (YUP good sale price) runners for my gal pals to give them next year. And clothes for me. I do not even remember why I went there. And this was after meeting my pal at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf for coffee and gossip and spending 50bucks there on two coffee mugs for me one a travel mug the other a Christmas mug and two pink travel breast cancer mugs for DD's to give them next Oct. What's up with that OH they were all 20% off:) Lunchlady who can not pass up a deal. I think I am outta control!!!

I'd go check them out. A very sweet woman, my favorite salesperson who works in the nursery/garden section says they've never gotten roses in the fall. She checked the delivery form for Tuesday, the day they get their shipment, and said more roses are due to be delivered.

I was pleasantly surprised by Arm & Hammer Plus Oxi Clean (Fresh Scent) on whites and I LOVE the scent (reminds me of the scent of laundry when I was a kid, classic clean laundry smell). I have not used it on colors so I don't know how gentle it is on colors. I would also suggest Cheer. I really can't pick ONLY ONE since my family here has taught me a few things on white detergents and color safe(er) detergents.
